INTRODUCING
Georg Breuer Winemaker Dinner
Winemaking dynamo and Rheingau superstar Theresa Breuer is coming to The Sourcing Table to host a dinner with us [insert screaming emoji].
Her family's winery was formed all the way back in 1880 and is currently making world-class Riesling (not sales patter, go check the critic scores) from some of the most talked-about and steepest sites in the Rheingau. This is the first dinner Theresa has hosted in the UK, and we're more than a little pleased that it's with us.
We've asked our good friend Tamsin from Salt & Honey, to put together a special dinner to sit alongside Theresa's wines.
It's basic maths; Theresa's wines + Tamsin's food + a mouth-watering line up of Germany's best = a very very good evening.
When: 14th July at 7pm
Where: The Sourcing Table Peckham, SE15 4BW

Domaine Lajibe
Jean-Baptiste Semmartin’s wines are precise, direct and complex. It is easy to see why they have gained cult status, these wines aren't like anything else I've tasted.
We have 2 wines from his 2023 vintage that are rarely available. No limits, no conditions, but when it’s gone, it’s gone.
This is not your average story of how a cult winemaker came to be, if there is such a thing. Jean-Baptise Semmartin went from representing France nationally as a fencer to making wine back home in Jurançon. Despite time in Burgundy and Bordeaux, it may be Jura whose influence we see most in his wines. He works with careful deliberate oxidation to give the wine stability and allowing him to work without any fining, filtration, or even sulphites.
The results are wines with crazy intensity; rich and heady with the aromatics we know of Petit and Gros Manseng, but as precise as the épée he put down.
Domaine Hudelot-Noëllat
It isn’t often (ever?) that I get to talk to you about a wine like this available by the bottle. But here I am with 3 wines from the incomparable Hudelot-Noëllat. These wines are stunning today, with one of them getting five stars from Jasper Morris, but they would age without doubt... if you can forget about them! These wines are super limited and I expect them to sell out, so fastest finger first to secure yours!
Since Charles van Canneyt took over from his grandfather in 2008 we’ve seen a quiet revolution; he has been modernising the kit and refining technique, but all the while keeping one foot firmly in tradition. Working at this level, Charles also manages great attention to detail, tailoring the oak for every wine by classification and vintage.
The Premier and Grand Cru plots produce benchmark wines for elegance and finesse in the Cote de Nuits while their Bourgogne Rouge has a bit of a reputation for over-delivering. It’s easy to see why these wines are so wildly sought after.
Seckinger
Looking for German wine beyond the classic polished Riesling stereotype? Seckinger is damn good place to start. Their wines are textured, energetic and quietly radical, showing the Pfalz through organic farming, minimal intervention and graceful ageing in neutral oak. We adore these wines, and know you will too.
“Our goal every year is to bottle this terroir without altering it”
This is a winery built on family; three brothers and a support team of people who have been with them since they were in nursery.
These are precise and exciting wines from a dynamic bunch of young winemakers. Buy now before they get the attention they deserve.
