A remarkable Riesling that effortlessly balances power and elegance, this gem is a brilliant introduction to the wonderful wines of Domaine Mann.

Sourced from the lieu-dit (similar to a single-vineyard) of Altengarten, this has intense notes of lime and honeysuckle all supported by a thrilling mineral backbone. Altengarten is renowned for its sandstone soils, which translate to powerful, sophisticated wines and this example from Domain Mann is no exception. It is bone dry, expressive and absolutely delicious. A must for lovers of Riesling or a great introduction for those yet to fall in love with the variety.

About Domaine MANN

Jean-Louis, Fabienne and Sébastien are a family of winemakers dedicated to producing exceptional, terroir-driven wines from the picturesque commune of Eguisheim in Alsace.

Domaine Mann is a winery with the ability to distil the terroir of Alsace into each bottle they make. Focus is given to individual parcels within their 13 hectares of biodynamically farmed vineyards; each wine is crafted in such a way that every plot's individual terroir shines through, with some only producing 150 bottles a vintage. Their vintage Crémant is a must-try; it is wonderfully elegant, rich, and complex with Sebastien's experience working at renowned Grower Champagne producer Vouette et Sorbée clearly evident.

These wines are elegant and alive, displaying thrilling minerality and are truly delicious. If you have previously shied away from Alsace before, these are the perfect way to reacquaint yourself with this diverse region
